Temporary exhibition - LUMEN
Come discover how light has transformed our lives by exploring it under various angles and examining its behaviour through different light sources and obstacles. Let yourself be dazzled by the magic of refraction and discover polarization. Light is an electromagnetic wave, as are microwaves and x-rays. Its distinctive feature is blindingly obvious, it’s VISIBLE!
With the help of interactive elements and creative interpretation, the LUMEN exhibition will help us see light more clearly!
Produced by the Sherbrooke Museum of Nature and Science, with contribution from the Government of Canada and Les appartements Frontenac, as well as collaboration from the Université de Sherbrooke and REPOL.
Transportation Discovery Centre
Launch a rocket, navigate a submarine, explore robotics and make things fly! Shipbuilding, railway and aviation have played a major role in the development of Moncton as a city and as a commercial center since the early 19th century. The Transportation Discovery Centre features an array of interactive exhibits and hands-on activities for all ages.
